Spahtulah was one of my favorite undergrad works. it started out as an invention project where i came up with an idea on paper, then from there actually designed the project. in the end there is a product and a package. i constructed the spahtulah from pieces of balsa wood and an old metal spatula. the buttons were added as part of the invention, which was a spatula that was also the grill, with a thermometer. next i built a box from the same balsa wood and then had to learn auto cad in order to laser cut the box lid. after everything was built i stained the box for a more tasteful look.
